I guess this blog is dying. Here’s an article that basically explains from a Kinky Blog POV (lol)

harlotgirls:

So with all this ban thing, I’m losing this blog. I’ve been inactive for a while, for personal reasons, but did plan on coming back. Guess not. As some other user said, I hope we can find a community as tumblr used to be and express ourselves the way we felt we could here. This is a bigger deal than just “banning porn”. This place has helped so many find themselves and feel comfortable expressing the things they found about themselves, it helpes a lot of us feel comfortable in our own skin, I’ve posted myself several times. I feel sad, I really do. But I guess we can’t have too much of a good thing. I never thought I’d have to shut it down. Feel free to follow my main blog: bluscorpio, or my reddit prettyinpinkleather, that last is more of a personal booty posting page. Thank you all for your support, I really do love you all.

Highlights:

“Tumblr has decided to give up, rather than do as other sites have done and invest in measures to handle illegal content, while allowing sexual expression”

“Tumblr’s design seemed to cater to different physical need: offering a slow, building stream of visual and emotional content - rather than the instant video gratification of sites designed with hurried male audiences in mind, fast-forward button and all.”

“That change means marginalised people, those who are all-too-used to being ostracised in their offline lives, now face it in their online space too. Some of the internet’s most-needed communities are now homeless.”

anish kapoor is banned from petting this dog

This…is a hell hound.

I’ve never seen a dog so deserving of the gravitas of that title. Never in all my long life. Stunning.

If T’Challa had a dog, it would be this one.

You ever feel like you can’t be happy? Like you legitimately don’t know how to. Every time the slightest ray of hope shines on your life you just snuff it out because it’s easier for your eyes to stay used to the dark than to go through the pain of them adjusting to the light?

wnq-writers:

“Our relationship might be dead, but I still get a thrill in my stomach when I think I might see you again. Your eyes haunt me like a tune that’s stuck in my head. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to put these feelings to bed. I try to remember you took razor blades to my heart many times…leaving me broken and bleeding inside. But, I see ghosts of you in the faces of people I pass by; I’m jonesing hard to have you by my side. Maybe someday I’ll let the memories of you die, and I’ll undo the knot that has our souls tied. Until then, I’m linked to you across oceans and between skies…I’ll never forget you were the first to bring my heart to life.”

if you’ve ever taken a shower to muffle your sobs, I’m sorry and I love you. if you’ve ever eaten alone in a bathroom stall, I’m sorry and I love you. if you’ve ever used makeup to conceal evidence of pain, I’m sorry and I love you. if you’ve ever looked in a mirror and wanted to change what you saw, I’m sorry and I love you. if you’ve ever questioned your worth because of someone else, I’m sorry and I love you. you’re not alone, and you don’t deserve the hurt you’ve experienced. you are good enough—more than good enough. you and valid, you have meaning, and you are loved even when you don’t know it.

As a feminist, seeing Cate Blanchett in this sort of outfit in her late 40s brings me joy, because most movies would take her age as automatically excluding her from anything even slightly sexy.

As a gay, seeing Cate Blanchett in this outfit renders me incapable of thought and speech.
